My name is André Nettermann, founder of reformesports.com.
Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — first as a goalkeeper at SV Darmstadt 98 and later as an outfield player at SFC Friedrichshain. Alongside football, I studied biology and eventually settled in Berlin. After witnessing many serious injuries to teammates during my own years in youth football, adequate protection has always been extremely important to me.
After graduating, I spent several years working in industrial 3D printing at Formlabs and Qualified AM. During that time, I began exploring how the technology could be used to manufacture customized protective equipment. Only in recent years, however, has the technology advanced far enough to make that goal achievable without forcing players through complicated scanning processes.
From this combination — football, a biological understanding of the body, and production experience — reformé Shield was born: an adaptable shin guard that can be used by anyone, without compromising protection.
No corporation, no anonymous label — just a product created from genuine football experience and hands-on manufacturing expertise.
